This was my wallpaper throughout my Spring semester this year. I found it on another site and didn't know who the artist was. So glad I know now. It was the perfect serene background to all the madness I endured this last term. I change my wallpaper every season, and I have had a hard time letting this one go. It has become a welcome site every time I find myself stuck behind the keyboard. Still searching for a worthy replacement. The blues and greens of the sky and earth are so saturated - but not overly so - and rich with detail. I love the clouds seem heavy and born from the earth so that the sky opens up to the stars. It's dreamy and surreal, yet a believable and solid representation. My favorite part is the subtle rainbow-ish play of light against the clouds. You really captured the effect vapor and sunlight can make. Love it.
